Later in panels like side story 11, the boss kissed Hyeok and Hyeok didn’t really push him away, why? And Inseo was right behind him but we didn’t see close up panel of him. Why? Was this before Inseo and Hyeok got together? I remember hearing that these side stories are taken in the past.
The boss also thought this:
“It’s not fun (as he was kissing Hyeok). The fact that it is useless to destroy someone other than Dajeong.”
Am I supposed to think he likes Dajeong? So forced. And at the end of the chapter, the boss finds that Dajeong isn’t at home. I HOPED HE RAN AWAY! But based on chapter 27, probably not?

(SIDE STORY 10): The boss is absolute shit (side story ML/2nd cp). Dajeong was trying to speak with him, and hang out I assume, but the boss saw Hyeok (Main Couple’s Uke), and went over to it.
Dajeong called out to the boss, but the boss said something with a cold expression and turned away. The boss went to a bar with Hyeok, and chatted. I am unsure as to why Hyeok is even associating with the same man that assaulted him. It’s been a while since I read so I forgot the context.

(SIDE STORY 11): The boss came back home, and Dajeong was in the bed not sleeping. The boss didn’t say much and did his own thing, Dajeong sat up and said something. The boss wrapped his hand around his throat on the bed.
A snippet of the boss’s past, as a kid, showed three people having a threesome on the bed while he read a book on the couch. Right in front of him.
With the boss kissing Hyeok, this was just before he and Inseo properly got together and it was not reciprocated by Yi Hyeok at all. The only reason he didn't punch the boss is because he was still his boss at that point, and punching his boss isn't something he could easily get away with, especially with him being roped into the stuff with his mom. As for whether or not we're supposed to think he likes Dajeong, probably? It's probably a situation where he finally realizes he likes Dajeong most of all but regardless it's in a fucked up way since he just wants those he likes to suffer by his hand
It was not, clearly, reciprocated, but I was just confused as to why Hyeok closed his eyes—maybe it was like: Oh well, let’s get it over with.
I didn’t expect him to punch, too much I guess to ask for considering the situation. But pulling away, yeah. I wonder what chapter it was, that shows Inseo’s reaction to that and he was probably jealous(?).

I remember this one chapter where the boss groped Hyeok I believe, assaulting (not the sleep scene but at restaurant). Was that during Hyeok and Inseo’s relationship or?
But yeah, the boss is just trash. Dajeong deserves 100% better.
I also hope the boss left Hyeok alone in present time. Did he? Don’t remember, but I do not fuck with the: Keeping the person that assaulted you near/associating with that type of person.
Everything the boss did with Yi Hyeok was before he and Inseo properly got together. The reason Yi Hyeok closed his eyes I think is because boss started choking him which caught him off guard and y'know. Hurts so I think it was more him flinching and hoping he'll let go soon rather than anything else. Boss has left him alone since because Yi Hyeok quit that job and is also more vigilant now

since day 1 they show us that he doesn't like hyeok romantically, only sexually, so after being liked so insanely by the step-brother It actually made him realize he stopped wanting him only for sex, he also started to need his feelings not only his body, and well he's a psycho but this is his twisted way of liking/loving someone.. I don't think his feelings are fake or forced, they're just twisted as he never even recieved love properly growing up so he doesn't know how to love and appreciate someone like someone "normal" would (but ofc this doesn't justify all the shit he had done)

If anyone knows a webtoon with that plot and could tell me, that would be a great help, thanks! EDIT: she said it was like shounen ai so maybe that helps to narrow it down

I'd read them like I'd read a tragedy manga, like for the drama of it buuuut that's the reason why I usually hate most of them instead. Bc the trauma is never acknowledged and the whole thing comes off as easy to get over and shit... No. If you gotta write rape you gotta write it as horrible as it is and not even think of building a romantic relationship around it ╮(￣▽￣)╭ own the fucked up topic you chose and stick with it, I'd rather a sad relastic healing story than watching a guy fall in love with his rapist yet again

More like: if the story is great, I don't care (Royal Servant). If the story doesn't have plot apart from the usual rape to love plot, it's all the more reason to drop it (lots of mangas out there)
To sum it up, I don't care if there's rape. But when the plot has too much flaws and is actually boring/cliché, then the rape becomes a problem.
Different people's moral works different ways I suppose. I have never bat an eyelash over problematic shit in fiction is all. I did rather use that time to actually support rl rape victims and get educated on other societal matters rather than crying over fictional ones.
