Ugh, i'm tired of Taesoo's behavior. He just isn't a likable character anymore. She should just get together with Mr. Hwang, who has always been a decent and nice guy.
A person who lost almost everything tend to feel small or lose their self-confidence.
I upvoted but didn't mean to. Taesoo has been through so much shit it is a completely understandable behavior. I wouldn't know how to cope with all that either. (︶︿︶)
I'm not so sure he's decent because i'd recently read a comment here which had an entirely different perspective on Mr. Hwang and i agree with that comment. Mr. Hwang's most important catalyst has always been to prove his father wrong which is why he keeps sticking to his moronic decisions however hurtful they are to others surrounding him. Example: Ms Doh. His inability to grasp the direness of these situations are what makes it so annoying to root for him. Example: The extent of the cruelty done to Taesoo.
Also, I understand Taesoo's pessimism may annoy us who root for him and Sooah but c'mon. You've gotta give him a break. He has been the kindest and most responsible man out there who has never pushed down anybody else to climb up the social ladder but has done so with his own merit AND STILL, HIS LIFE IS SHIT with one terrible thing happening over the other. I mean, how can anyone expect one to not be pessimistic?
Sooah is with him but she's fallen ill. It's not so much that he doesn't want her but when she fell "because" of him, he probably just doesn't want his misfortune to fall on her as well. Now, THAT'S noble thinking as compared to Mr. Hwang's indecisiveness.
This is obviously a terribly rough patch for them but i hope they work it out and also hope that Mr. Hwang would grow up and see Doh for what she truly is, a calamity.
