It's kinda interesting since now there's apparently this conflict of whether majiks and humans can coexist, yet it doesn't seem like they do at all? Aside from the prophecy witch that seems to have some genuine affection, the other witches and majiks don't seem to treat each other as equals, and we saw the negative impact of majiks on regular humans. Ichi certainly isn't friends with his majiks, so it's not like he'll save the day with the power of friendship....

They don't really treat each other as equal but they do enjoy interacting with each other.
Ichis majik seem to have fun with their trials and like it when witches come for them. They love the theatrics and insist on formally introducing yourself and such.
The wolf was rehearsing his lines, the shark made a stage to present herself on and the king was having fun ragebaiting. There was no genuine hate from them I think.
And considering the origin myth of majiks and the fact that they're called "trials" Makes me feel like there is some sort of mutual relationship.

Idk, that tapir majik that eats sadness seemed good and benevolent, but turned out to be evil. How do we know if all majiks that seem good aren't secretly plotting something evil like that? Before introducing this anti-coexistence plot, I feel like the author should show us more positive examples if they exist.

Yes, that's my point. They thought he was a "good" majik and were not there to hunt him, but in the end he also turned out to be evil. So far, the author hasn't actually shown us any good/kind majiks that benefit humans. And even if they are good now, how do we know they aren't also plotting something evil like the tapir?

If they are good now than they should be treated as good. It's like with humans you can't just put someone into jail bc they might do something bad. Witches only actively go after harmful majiks which is why we have only seen "bad" ones. But in the origin stories the majiks were good, gave easy trials, and helped witches etc.

It's a failure of the writer for not showing us the good majiks though. They need to establish the world building better by showing majiks and humans living in harmony and relying on each other in order for us to understand the stakes of the antagonist wanting to destroy that. So far we haven't seen anything. We need a slice-of-life chapter or even some background images of majiks working with humans in order to support the idea that they can collaborate, but so far there hasn't been anything.

Well, there are the origin majiks, and the captured majiks which are friendly after being captured. And it seemed like (for example shark and wolf) wanted to be captured and then turned friendly after. We've seen majik who seek humans out to live with them and not just harm them. Their thinking is just a bit different

If majik wouldn't want to be with humans they could refuse to reveal their trial (like the worldhater majik) or make an impossible trial (king majik) or make it very hard (sorrow majik). Most majik we've seen enjoy the trials and want to be acquired and there's also the majik that works for the association. So more often than not we've seen the majik have a good relationship with witches

I'm not sure I agree that they are "friendly" after being captured. They certainly still don't seem to like Ichi much or welcome him when he goes to his inner world. Dessscaras's majiks are canonically afraid of her according to ch50. The bad guy says they have a "master-servant" relationship, and we haven't seen much to prove otherwise. A majority of the majiks seems to like the trials in order to show their superiority over humans and beat them, not because they *want* to be conquered. The only exception so far might be the shark one who wanted to be stylish?

So, just started this and read up to the current chapter. What I don't understand is how the MC knows some of the stuff he does about the members. Like, how did he find out about that one member being a composer and his username? The guy died before telling anyone (aside from his friend who also died), so who would have told the MC? Plus, the MC has some lines like "our team is so talented, we shouldn't have been buried like that" but like... y'all died before even debuting... how do you know whether you would have flopped or not in the past? (I know they weren't set up for success with their shitty company, but they still could've gotten lucky)
I just can't take Dai seriously as a wise mentor when he let that groomer bitch mess around with Yuusuke.
Fr tho knowing that Yuusuke is also a minor like wtf
Amen. Him and the other adults quite literally just let this child get taken advantage of. It's even more frustrating that she pretty much got off easy too lol
