i did not really like estelle, her whole attitude and persistence of “keeping the story to the original timeline” and that the duke would fall in love with his “heroine” was seriously infuriating. even now i don’t really like her, but im glad ultimately estelle was able to be firm in her decision for divorce despite wavering. honestly if she stopped and remained married to the duke i would’ve been so enraged but it’s a refreshing take to actually see her divorce him. if the duke really wanted to remain married because he loved her, he shouldn’t haven let all those misunderstandings pile up. additionally, i hate how obsessive he was. our mc is literally the best character in the story!
