I just want to say that the only victim we have here is the son. From the moment I started reading, at first I thought ML was MC step-son and not actually his “son”. The way he ignored that child, looked and referred to him with disgust. The distance he kept from him shows how much of a horrible person he is, a complete narcissist. Still remember the first chapter before picking up the mom he thought his wife “couldn’t be mad because she’s coming from her son’s graduation.” As if that was not also his child!
Later seeing the ignored texts from MC really hit a cord.
He didn’t see him as his son! Just the moment the mother was comatose and the the ML went from victim to perpetrator did he finally throw around the sentence “I’m your father” or whatever.
Did MC deserve everything he went through? Of course not, but even from his flash back we can still see that he will put himself first all the time. Calling just to ask for money from his parents. Seems like he rarely visited home and never knew much about what was going around in their life before it was too late.
I’m gonna stand in this ground and hope ML realize that this is wrong and hopefully want to get out of it. Cause at this moment, it seems like the Dad won and it pisses me off!

Ok so this manga really took a turn. I swear I came hear just for the smut and started skimming over it, but then boom the story took a turn and character were growing into me and the story became so good. The puzzle was coming together and events you thought were plot holes ACTUALLY HAS A PURPOSE. And because you thought this story required low brain cells to understand you’re shocked by how complex the characters are. I’m convincing the low rating is due to people just reading the start and not liking it. You got to let it marinate! Went from absolutely hating Ben (Purple dude) to him being so interesting and I need more screen time about him.
