Nah cause i read them too and this is a really heart wrenching isekai ive ever read. The depth that the author took into each and everyone of the characters was really phenomenal. In fact if this novel is translated in english i would fucking kill to buy a paperback copy and just treasure it. Its so fucking good. Ive teared up reading just the spoilers. Most of the characters you expexted to loathe you cant bring yourself to hate (except for piece of shit crown prince. Asshole should be burned alive) and that why its so fucking good. Aside from anakin being undoubtedly best boy my second best is definitely jason. Hes a prick but honestly he deserves so much.
an even more fucked up explanation: The crown prince knew that Helena(?) didn’t actually die. That gave him the idea that he could resurrect Eris (MC) after executing her. So he gathered Hubris (preist) and Jason to discuss with them his plan on resurrecting MC after the execution. (The planning happened BEFORE the execution. MC hasnt been executed yet) When Hubris and Jason came to the room where MC was, they found her burning body along with Anakin standing in front of it. MC wished to die and Anakin respected her wish despite knowing that he’ll be deeply hurt bc he’s in love with her. Hubris went crazy and tried extinguishing the fire. Hubris and Jason fought Anakin. The witch appeared in front of Anakin’s body and pondered if he will love Eris the same in another workd.
