No, the scan group didn't drop it. Apparently, the new group was told that this was already taken and they just didn't care. I've spoken to the original group and they have no plans to drop the project. So there's going to be two different versions of this I guess.

Didn't they also license To Take An Enemy's Heart? If so it'd be odd if they censored this story when they didn't that one.

They did? Which one? And oh it's this one http://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/to_take_an_enemys_heart/ , it's by the same author/artist. The first 20 chapters of so are from a translation team. But then it was licensed by two sites. One that put up censored chapters. And then there was tappytoon. From what I know they don't usually censor any works so that's weird.
So I just got word from tappytoon and apparently they cant always get both licenses for mature and all age comics depending on the contracts with the original platform. That doesn't mean it's out of the cards completely but for now they have an artist submitted all ages version.

Tappytoons as far as I know never change the names to western names. What you're talking about is tapas. And the person explained why unfortunately for now, it seems that Tappytoons is unable to release the original uncensored version.
I've seen it in tappytoon, one of the first series I think.
They said that Tappytoon couldn't get BOTH the mature and the all ages so Tappytoon only went for the all ages one. I am saying that they should have got the mature one instead of the all ages one.
They went for the PG-13 vs R because they think they will get more money.
And that pisses me off and so I won't buy it.

Okay so let me rephrase because my understanding wasnt that they picked all ages vs. Mature. But that they simply COULDNT get the mature version because of the current contract with the original distributor. The truth is they would have probably made MORE if they got the mature. They have been adding mature comics like crazy because of the cash cow they are.
Well hopefully they'll be able to get the MATURE version from the original distributor. They usually do a great job like Lezhin, when it comes to translating manhwa/webtoons in English. And it makes sense that the mature versions garner more attention because usually that's the original version to begin with.
