Blue flag definitely has multiple of well written characters

I highly recommend “little mushroom” the novel.

But other than that try “Hamlet”, there’s so much you can uncover from the characters based on the dialogue and you even argue your own interpretations. Things like was Hamlet really only pretending to be crazy? And things that aren’t written. Take hamlet’s mom for example, who seems like such a shallow character at first but if you think deeper, she might if drank the poisoned wine knowing it was poisoned in order to protect Hamlet. That sort of stuff

Author is really good. Like really really good. Many characters are well written. You can empathize with almost everyone and see from clear perspective. Antagonists were written very well you can understand their reason and even feel sad for them, but you will not tolerate their evil doings. I think it's so good because even tho the author give us full back story of how the antagonists became the villains, their story wasn't written as white washing purpose.

Huai Shang is indeed a awesome writer. I didn't complete this novel as I am waiting for the translation to finish but I did, read the mtl and it seemed impressive. You should read 'poyun' as well. Though, personally I like this one more

Indeed!!! Tbh i havent read poyun both its novel and manhua, idk but maybe its bcs i havent read its manhua and the character itself aint picked my interest (i love yanxie tho). I decided to read the second one (swallowing of the seas) bcs wu yu's character seems intriguing so i gave it a shot. But turns out its a hidden gem!!

The plot itself lots of twist and if i missed one details it makes me lost in upcoming chapters. Idk about others but my brains hurts in a good(?) Way. Havrnt finished yet but im enjoying this so far. Love the dynamic between shark and wu yu also if i consider their roles ( the antag and protag of the story ). They looks quite interesting.
