Like why is the real mother beating up the older brother? I get that they found out about his real identity and all, but like the butler said, the older brother didnt know. It's natural to want to protect your younger brother who you thought almost got murdered. Is he stupid for believing that fake? Yes. But the mother beating him like that bothered me a bit. Idk they all seem way too obsessed to me.
He deserved it tho, like the mother said. "When he was hitting Chenchen, did he ever think that Chenchen would be hurt?" And even if Su Yichen is not his brother why would he even beat people like that? Without knowing what really happened first.

I felt bad too, but then I remember he WILLINGLY let a person (who he did not know was his real brother) get dragged off by a group of men so they could rape him, and he decided to turn a blind eye to that when the mc was BEGGING him to stop them when he had the authority to. Maybe I should clarify my reasoning a bit more since I think my original post did a poor job of it. I'm not bothered by the fact he got beaten (because he did do shitty things), but its that the mom beat the older brother because he beat the MC, who was just revealed to be blood related. I was bothered because it was such a drastic change in attitude from the framing incident. Both times MC was wronged, but because the framing was done by the fake, he basically got a slap on the wrist with his credit card being taken away. She didnt beat the shit out of him even though he couldve ruined someone's reputation. But this time, the brother got beaten badly for punching the MC, which is still wrong, but arguably less bad than permanently staining his reputation in the social sphere. This difference is attitude is because 1. She didnt know MC was her lost child and 2. Fake was a replacement for MC. The mom is just playing favorites, and that's what I find unfair about the situation. Basically, she, and the whole family for that matter, are unusually and disturbingly obsessed with the lost child. I just felt like if MC wasnt found out to be the lost child, she wouldn't react the same way. It would probably be another settlement/compensation offer.

The way Eden said it could be better, but he's not wrong. He was the only one who spoke up multiple times to try to save the group and the others do nothing to help. I agree with Eden, the rest sit back and reap the rewards.
