BF is not shounen-ai. And that's cool because that means you can find romantic undertones between guys in other genres. Like with het and how stories of different genres can have a romantic relationship between a man and a woman.
It's regressive wanting to tag everything that contain romance between two men, no matter how explicit or implied is, always and only as yaoi/shounen-ai
yeah, and it actually makes you feel like their feelings towards each other (Eiji and Ash) are more genuine.
Like in GOL when Akira asks Sing if Eiji and Ash were lovers, he responds by saying they were more than that and how he doesn't mean that they were in a sexual relationship but were connected with each others soul. To which I think is as pure as love can get.
Because this manga is not really about their love story, is about the life of Ash, drugs, violence, rape and how he fights for his own freedom
First story was boring, I couldn't care less for the characters but had a beautiful art style. Jude was gorgeous.
Second is weird and gross asf (I didn't get what exactly was going on because I just glanced over it). The art style is terrible too. And it looked like there wasn't consent.
I just glanced over third story too but it def contains non, or at least, dub con what is gross asf (sensei dude has a weird vibe, his expressions and the things he says during the sex scene are so sick they made me uncomfortable. Just as the vignettes of the kids sleeping close to them - and the mangaka for some reason decided to throw in the middle of such scene-. But of course he's a sick, disgusting rapist so, duh). And it's a shame because I loved Ganbare Nakamura-kun.
Fourth contains some weird kind of bestiality (I mean, it's what you kids nowadays call furry, right?) so guess what? Yes, it's weird and gross asf.
This book is one of the worst things I've glanced over (lol) in a while.

He has always seems to me like someone who is pretty sure about his own feelings for "hyung" idk...
It's possible that got lost in translation. I know Clarju said that some parts of the Korean to the english get lost in translation sometimes, not entirely sure if this one was though. I think Doyoon is very sure of his feelings that he likes Juha.

Anyways, I do want to know how Doyoon and Juha get together. Once it happens, I guess I'll be finally free of this XD (like with Taeyi and Seheon. I skip their parts ever since they got together in S1... I skipped all of them in S2 even their sex scene ^^; )

Also, the reason he sent Doyoon to the hospital was because the other one didn’t retaliate. If Doyoon has been serious there’s no way Juha

Yeah, I get your point but still... Like, it's more than ok for Juha to realize he was wrong and correct his behavior, and obviously I don't want for him to be abusive or violent, even less if they're supposed to have something romantic. But I feel that it wasn't necessary to make him do a 180° turn and act literally like a scared kitten all the time. It feels forced to me.
Also, he accused Doyoon of forcing him so, while I agree he's talking about being scared of his feelings, it's more in a subconscious way? Because, again, Juha not only accused him of forcing him but Doyoon and Taeyi's talk sounds as if they believe it was physically and as if he really went too far. And even if Doyoon can physically overpower him, they should know better. They should know that because of that time he didn't fight back, he won't hurt Juha like ever.
But like I said, even if my opinion sounds negative, there's still something that makes me keep reading so

How frustrating are plots where the problem would have been resolved if ONE character wouldn't have been gross and stupid? Congrats, MC's mom, you ruined your son's life for so long just because you couldn't tell him his childhood friend was effing alive! And even if he wasn't going to have the chance of seeing him again, believe me it would have made a BIG difference if he had known he wasn't dead, let alone, that it wasn't his fault someone died. Anyways, the author ruined everything with that S2 premise. It seems there will indeed be a unnecessary and forced love triangle. Now, I don't get people who actually ship the protagonist with the childhood friend when they were too young to develop something and then they didn't meet again until now... Even if Myunghan suffered of hallucinations, I don't get how that's remotely romantic vs. there being a development in his relationship with the hyung ever since they were kids. Honestly, shippers are weird asf and always ship the unbalanced, not reciprocated, not developed, boring, with no romantic undertones, ships... but sorry I digress *sighs* and since there's this 4th dude, I guess no matter what, no one will end up alone anyways (I could picture him with Sihoo, he even take his time to find out what was going on with him).

anyways yeah s2 is a little off to me but i think i can get into it really quick and yeah, love triangle (dam it... mc is already happy, no more useless drama) but i want to see actual sihoo character now and see him develop tbh. idk how accurate the hallucination was to the actual person since he never met him. the hallucination seems to be very similar to kid sihoo as in his is very bright and seems to always want to be around similar to when they where kids and sihoo always wanted to play.
(ok i just want to see sihoo happy,, i love him and my poor emotions wouldn't take all of the stuff with him feeling neglected, his accident and when he jumped yhtg. ok imma stop this is getting too long and i dont even know if i make any sense)
