I was like "at last!" about the kiss but at the same time, I do think this story is rushed . They've known for like a week and Minjae is already being somewhat dramatic about his feelings for Woochan (I'd get it if his "suffering" were bc of his ex but a week knowing someone isn't enough for him to be like "stop getting my hopes up!" idk it feels forced... I'm still enjoying a lot this webtoon tho I'm sorry, lol).
You know, even when I didn't think about it, that's the reason why the body switch trope usually doesn't excite me? lol ...I mean, in any case, it should be more exciting to see the characters looking fascinated at a mirror than for them kissing I know the idea still is that they fall for each other's persolity since they are "forced" to spend more time together against their will trying to fix it. And the title is Inner Beauty so we're supposed to believe that, lol. But I totally get what you mean.
Now in ch 22, there's a flashback (I hope this doesn't count as a spoiler) that made me go to check the first chapters again and I realized how the author did actually a good job showing their true personalities, mannerisms and body language even when they were in each other's body. That's definitely cool...
I was buying this one on Tappytoon but I stopped around the chapter where that dude with yandere vibes shows up reeking alcohol the next morning the MCs did it for the first time. I wasn't enjoying where the plot was leading...
Anyways, I guess I'll eventually finish it since I still have coins on there, but I'll wait for it to ends and for Tappytoon to make a discount on them.
Given that I already talked about them as characters and that we finally got to the smut, I just want to focus on that and repeat something regarding Izumi topping: "tops" that are cute and/or the younger and/or the shorter and/or the stoic - blackhaired - that lose it when it's sexytime (extra point for the way they show their secret-not-that-secret crush on their love interest without being aggressive) are the BEST.
In BL, these traits usually belong to the character that bottoms so that's why their sex dynamic was another thing I loved about Kashiwagi and Izumi
This is definitely one of the best mangas I've read in a long time (of course I'm not talking about anything epic or the kind but for a short and simple story). I confess I've been more into Korean webtoons lately but it's nice to read manga, find those little details that makes it different from manhwa and enjoy it but I digress.
The only thing I don't like about this is how the ex gf was demonized. Sure, there are women like that but it's always suspicious in BL when they make women this shitty. But, besides that, I really like how the mangaka is handling everything else, how they aren't forcing anything in any sense (thank God). There was a clear confession, they became friends, they listen to the other, they respect each other, /there is a dialogue between them/ and speak up when they have to and won't hide things from the other (so, no place for silly misunderstandings)... Kashiwagi and Izumi are precious boys and it's a shame it's only an oneshot. Anyways, as much as I love me some angst, it's weird to find these characteristics in fictional romance so it's always refreshing when it happens.
I love talking about sex dynamic in BL but damn, the fact that 99% of the comments are just people wondering who's "the seme" and who's "the uke" (let alone people using those words to refer to characters) is so disturbing...
But oh well, I'm really enjoying this story, is so sweet and I really like how things are developing between Izumi and Kashiwagi. It's hard to find good one-shots too because everything usually feel rushed (it's only naturally after all, there's no so much pages for so much development) but the pacing of this one is nice. And I'm quite liking the MCs and I love Izumi's t-shirts & hoodies and how Kashiwagi always notice them, lol.
Ah, I should know by now that whenever fujoshis act like horny shits on the comments is because the manga/manhwa/manhua is gross af.
So basically, protagonist 1 is confused about his sexuality because his neighbor on the next door has been taking advantage of him, since he's very young, to do sexual things because she draws BL. SO SExy!! 1!
Meanwhile, protagonist 2 is confused because he went to the urologist and he raped him (because settings where you're having any ailment so you go to the doctor and he ends up raping you is SO HOt!! 1!).
And that's it, that's why they're desperately for moar
Honestly, I think Hyunwoo should end up with the noona's ex and stop messing Subin.
lol no. just no. that’s just hilarious and so wrong lol and i know the author doesn’t have that in mind. AT ALL.
Lol, idgaf what "you know". I said what I said and I don't get how you got it as me saying something else besides just an opinion (it's not that important nor So wRonG!! anyways, this webtoon was never really about romantic love but a more real, depressing, view on relationships, lol).
PS: lol.
oh, btw. You know what it IS wrong? Trying to get in the middle of a relationship, mainly if you treated like shit that person in the past, to the point that you lied about not having sex with them when they were wasted
