The artstyle stands out SO MUCH like IT'S SO GOOD, very simple but very expressive, also the author is not afraid to draw men with body hair which is SO rare in yaoi (not so much in bara) but it fits and it looks SUPER SEXY AAAA
I enjoyed the western setting, I don't read it too often so it was refreshing! Sure it didn't make sense at times (i'm probably gonna think about the chimpanzee thing in my deathbed, like it stil haunts me LMFAO) but hey, I enjoyed the comedy, the romance, the sex scenes, the tense moments...... I started reading this bc it was recommended to me and I wasn't really sure at first, bc I don't like omegaverse all that much and I thought the premise was stupid ("ah yes, the sex doctor told me to get dicked down, nice to meet you" LMAO)..... but MAN was i wrong.
Alpha x alpha is SO GOOD, both the main characters navigated their struggles in a satisfactory way (in-universe at least lol) not to mention they're SO HOT???? The bit of angst in the middle was delicious, and the sex scenes are ON. POINT.
Definitely one of the best I've read recently. Idk if it's close to ending, but I kinda hope so? Like, unless a new antagonist/problem gets introduced, I think this (after this sex scene I mean LOL) is a great place to end on a high note (づ￣ ³￣)づ IDK I'M JUST SCARED everything is so perfect and rose-tinted, if something were to ruin their happiness rn idk if I could take it ╥﹏╥ and if the author introduced a badly thought out plot point, I think it'd ruin what could be one of the best alpha x alpha stories I've read in a looong time

Also a brutal r*pe scene and them making up and having sex the day after would be funny if it wasn't so messed up LOL
I don't think I'll continue to read this one.... the characters act so plastic and inhuman, there's no consistency and they feel like completely different people in different chapters
