I feel like the female lead has made no character development in a sense. She’s still actively changing herself to be with that “oppa” of hers. I thought maybe there would be a chance the story could turn into her redemption arc. Finally, seeing she’s been chasing after the wrong man. Dropping him and moving on. ╮(￣▽￣)╭ Finding more self world, focusing on school, building and mending friendships.

She’s a child longing for her parents. I know some people in comment section are acting like it’s not a big deal for birthdays. Celebrating your child’s birthday should be a priority it’s CELEBRATING THERE LIFE?
Based on this story it seems like Sam was very lonely and she never really saw her parents regularly or hell, at all.
So I can imagine how distressed and sad she must have felt within the moment.
