I am so happy with the character development but I think we can all agree breaking up with someone on Christmas Day is fucking wrong… like beyond wrong.. . I can understand as to why he wants to break up because why would you want to date someone who is not even sure if they like you lol.

Exactly... I could understand delaying if someone was doing exams or something but always choose the soonest time. I had mine on Valentines. Was told straight up "You aren't the one" after four years. Hurts but eh... life.
I understand there is no correct time to break up with someone however, there is no reason to do it on holidays it seems so cruel. I’m sure he could have waited a day after. Makes no sense as to give her a “goodbye” gift either lol.

I think the disconnect for fl has to do w her traumatic past. Once we r able to see that, we should be able to better understand why she wants Yeonwoo to choose between her and Junhyuk. It looks like she might want to replace Junhyuk cuz I remember her mentioning that she wants someone who would stay by her side forever and that she doesn’t want Yeonwoo to come to hate her. Since Yeonwoo is excessively dependent on Junhyuk she wants to replace him because if Yeonwoo were to become dependent on her, then she could rest assured that he wouldn’t be able to live w/out her. That’s just my speculation ig we’ll just have to wait and see ~
