Hyo-un hasn't forgotten he actually got his memory back after waking up from the flashback, while he was in the flashback the other one (forgot his name) went on a search for the cute for hyo by looking for another dragon. After he found the dragon he fell off a cliff and hyo, after remembering the boy was his dead husbands reincarnation went to the merry of death (the skeleton who takes you to the after life) hyo stopped him from going with the skeleton and revived him by giving him an orb that makes him his mate for life even his reincarnation of himself will be hyo-uns mate. But when husband woke up he forgot who hyo-un was so the roles are kind of reversed from before, sorry if this is confusing if you need help with anything reply and I can tell you in more detail :)) p.s. Hyo is acting different now because he regained his memory and he wasn't mean until his mate died for those 300 years so he's acting how he always used to act during the flashback.

So the uke lost his memory when he fell down the cliff. The flashback is for seme and uke previous lives how they met in the forest where uke escape, how seme fallen in love with uke and the whole thing about our uke's royal brother is also in maybe in love with uke so he try to get him to stay in the Palace but our seme turn into a dragon and bring uke back and after their wedding the try to escape to another land but seeing how his Majesty (uke's royal brother) sadden by our uke adsense, one of the minister assassinate our uke amidst their escape.

Just a little info, to me, the uke hasn't forgotten his memories because of his fall but because the seme brough him back to life. When he is about to give him is orb, death tells him that it's too late and that there will be consequences. And he's like "idc I can't watch him die twice". That's why he is not bothered by the loss of memories (or he doesn't show it)
