Clearly something tramatic happened to him on the mountain..maybe he suppressing his memories..other than that I would surely remember encountering a wolf as a child..as I remember drowning as a child..because both are memorable

I'm also speaking from experience.. when I used to think about what happened and how there was no consequence...I often would think am I even remember right..or did it even happen. I was basically trying to trick myself..and I can remember after it happened I became an asswhole for a short period of time
