Only up to chapter 20 so far. Came to comment that Keith definitely seems emotionally stunted. And what I mean by that is he seems like a child in a man's body. I actually don't see him as having truly malicious intent so much as being selfish and having a lack of awareness in his actions (like a KID!). Is that excusable? NO! particularly the rapey parts. But it does explain a lot. He doesn't seem like he grew up in a stable household and likely didn't develop correctly. He sees sex as transactional and lacks any appreciation of things without monetary value (like relationships/friendships)
I started browsing this a little bit ago. I say browse because it was not start to finish (yet). I think having done so has spared me from a lot of the angsty feels imparted by the plot. From what I gather Keith (ugh, why that? of all names...) is predominantly selfish by nature and and probably never matured well enough to develop an iota of emotional-intelligence. The opposite is true for YW. K probably interprets most things at face value, while YW looks for intent behind a person's actions.
I've seen this sort of plot before, basically the seme is a tactless dumbass and the uke is the lovestruck punching bag (of sorts). It's interesting but usually the story unfolds where the one without tact fucks up enormously and must then take a crash course on "how to be a proper fucking human being" to make things better again and win back the uke he likely devistated.
We'll see if this remains my opinion after I read it properly.
I almost feel guilty for suggesting this, but I can't help but feel apprehensive over something like she ends up having a miscarriage soon after discovering that she likes him. Just because of a superstition in my family about not giving the baby a name until it's been born. Maybe I've been reading too many dramas lately.
technically the name that she gave the baby is just something to call them by before they're born not really their name. Like you wouldn't want to call your baby by "it" or something similar even if they haven't been born yet. also the name comes from the two lines on the pregnancy test. "doo"=two and "jool"=line, tho you might already know that. i cant remember if the webtoon went over this already.....
Still very hard to interpret SH as a whole. We all know he's harboring some demons and he won't be able to change unless he's willing to address them. This chapter is possibly the closest to human he's ever acted and I predict that he will continue to behave more sane until one of his demons reawakens. Other plots are unfolding, after all. NK is already neck-deep in Stockholm syndrome, so the best we can hope for is that he will make it through in one piece.
