I know about the novel ExR translates..I wasn't sure about if its the edited version or an older version of the novel they use for the manhua (I haven't read the old one and don't know the differences)
I remember reading the translator's note that they're translating the edited version of the novel. I dont have the link but it's mentioned on their website.
Can confirm it is the edited version, it's been in the beginning of alot of chapters in the novel and also says so in Q&A sessions on their site as well.
think there isnt much difference between old novel and edited one because i think i read somewhere that the author just wanted to edit the language and stuff
Theres quite a few new chapters and it also has more extra smutty chapters and alot of things were moved around or omitted in the edited version

What do you mean by original webtoon? Isnt this originally a manga ? I know they made an anime for it but I've haven't heard of a webtoon
It was first drawn (very poorly) as a webtoon by the author Hero. I read it in an interview, he started it when he felt bored as an hobby and published it on his own website. I think it was completed in 10chapters that's the original story. Later they started this manga version. If you feel curious about the webtoon, its this one:

Its more, unless they're paid to do so(theres a writer and an artist) they cant make more of it as the company ended their pay rent cycle with this particular story.
Webtoons work alot differently than other media, in that it's more heavily monitored by content amount and type and it's also contracted work.
Oh well, I had actually no idea how the work of these artists and authors work, especially when it comes to webtoons...
