So like, Blake is Cain. Cain made a deal with a demon so that they can live a life with each other without any complications such as illnesses. The only draw back is that he loses his memories to the demon. So although he really loves Elise, it based on his life as Cain.
I hope I’m wrong bc the way he went about it is so weird.
