Now, having said this, this manga in particular IS NOT about rape but stereotypes, growing up out of them and deciding what we want to be affected by and how (I know, 'cause I've already read the whole volume) I will advice you to continue reading because it is a pretty good story and the worst character here against the omega is not the alfas per se but another omega. Something that we can understand too since sometimes fellow women are as harsh with us as the stereotypes we have to live with

Kaoru tells the MC that the string push you to your destined person but doesn't create love,that the only thing that the red string does is granting more chances to meet and know each other but that the rest depended on the people involved. That's why the previous couple, even though they had their string cut it reconnected again. Kaoru, then, told them that they were lucky because both of them were good people and they loved each other and feelings were stronger than any destiny; but sometimes, people weren't that lucky and their partner hurt them.. and that's where his abilities came up handy.
According to this and to what I'd like to believe, as long as Hara-san's feelings are strong and don't waver because of the multiple encounters he will have with his boss... they can still be together and defeat destiny, or at least show it that they can still choose what is the best for them even though something has already been written and thought for them.
