I mean, that "that's how's it supposed to be" just broke me in thousand ways.
Generally, I don't like the "too-kind guy" trope but this feels different. We know since the beggining that Yukino phrases things in a peculia way... Even Arata says a few times "it's not a lie but saying it that way.." so, we know from page 5 how is this going to turn out. And Arata is doing his best to understand it... In a way he does but he is kind of a masochist too, since he can't seem to move away.
There's some kind of rationality vs feelings that I really like in Arata: he knows he misunderstood and how Yukino is and how he should behave, but he can't bring himself to do it. And I feel like Yukino is too used to be misunderstood... My first red light was when he said "I used emoji to keep girls away": that was deep. Why would you feel the need to avoid being seen as bf material? And everyone is used to Yukino being "guilty" that he just keeps asay from anyone... Look, I like the club mates, but they are obviously unattached. Mayve that's why Yukino feels comfortable with them.
Maybe i'm reading too much into it, but anyways... I'm really liking it
Wait, why is everyone saying they are brothers? I understood that they were stepbrothers... I mean when they hear their parents talking, they inmediatly say who is going to be with whom, they talk about how they are no longer be anything to the other and how iy was nice while it lasted. To me it was pretty obvious that their parents remarried together and at the end split up, So they were back at being an only child. Was it just me??
In some countries, people automatically assume the youngest will go with the mother while the older will go with the father. There is not enough evidence here to assume they're stepbrothers. Most probably they said it was nice while it lasted because it was only a short time from when they were born to the time they separated. I'm just assuming all this... ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
So... Is it completed or are there no chapters?
It's one shot, you can read it now.
