The "do as I say and I'll delete the video" logic never makes any sense to me. He could've already made tens of copies of that video saved somewhere in his drive or cloud for all we know. What makes you think a character like that would genuinely keep his promise and delete such a good blackmail material for good with no copies to fool you? Lol
