No story is without faults, and it's the same with this one.
I agree that the uke is quite cowardly and insecure, but that's just how his character/personality was built. There are countless people like him in real life, as well as in the manga world. I feel like that personality of his made him seem a little more relatable.
I do, however, dislike the fact that he got swayed so easily by his ex, but I guess that comes with his personality (since he's so insecure) and I do believe that if someone else told him what his ex did, he still would've broken up with Shunsuke. So it's not so much about 'him listening to his ex' but more of a 'him letting his insecurities get to him'.
And there are so many people saying that he should've communicated with his partner and stuff, but that totally contradicts with his shy/withdrawn/introverted personality!
The only regret I have about this manga is that I would've liked to see Shunsuke sock that ex at least once. I mean, just one punch (maybe a little more)...
Omg thank you, I hate it when people say that they hate a certain character bc they're, for example, a coward and chose to run away. That's the beauty of a story, how characters choose and act differently. If a character did everything right, that would be boring right? A good story is a story with development, especially character development.
Exactly! If a character did everything according to what we expect/want him to do, the story would be so bland and just plain cliché!
Plus, characters can't change overnight (or else people call the story fast-paced) and I believe that he'll slowly learn to let go of his insecurities as he feels the love of his lover.
Bullying is never right. I'm always thankful to scanlation teams for putting in hardwork and releasing a manga, but groups like SS should remember that just because you're translating a manga doesn't mean you own it. Stop acting like you do.
And it's so hypocritical on their part since they say that they'll translate any project they like regardless of whether there is already a group translating it. If so, who are they to stop anyone from translating projects that they are doing?
Plus, not releasing the manga for 2 years and getting pissed of when someone else picks it up, who are you to be crying? Do you think people will bow and beg to you to read the manga? Please, get over yourself, and learn some respect. Just because we're readers doesn't mean you can walk all over us.
It is so wrong of them to be treating readers as well as other scan groups so badly.
I really like the story but I wish the mangaka would've taken time to build the relationship between the old present Neo and the new Maki instead of just jumping to a point where they are already in a relationship...
Or maybe it could've been that him going to the past and changing the future was actually a dream he had while he was in coma (since he later says that he regained his memories after a month).
Either way, their relationship is cute but we're practically in the dark regarding how they got together, how their relationship progressed, how they started living together, etc
I didn't read this manhwa on Mangago, but thank you so much for all your hardwork, Xie! Since a number of bad bugs were attacking you, it is a good thing that you stepped down. We enjoy this manhwa, but never at the cost of your mental health!
And for the entitled children: You should be a little (read:a lot) grateful to someone who is letting you read a PAID manhwa for FREE, at the expense of herself! She doesn't have to, but she still shared it graciously and now look what you've done.
In general, if this manhwa isn't picked up by anyone again (I understand whatever Xie wrote in her note to be true, there are a lot of risks uploading on this site and hardly anyone would want to put themselves in harm's way) maybe those ungrateful brats will buy some chapters themselves (which they should've been doing all along)
It's a good read, though I would've liked it better if the issue with Tai-chan's parents would've been addressed (his dad being abusive and his mom abandoning him) instead of the unnecessary introduction of a girl who contributed nothing to the plot.
The mangaka could've easily added 1-2 chapters (or written in the existing ones) and solved/talked about those issues that were actually a pivotal point in the manga.
Re-reading this for the n-th time and Kou's (as well as other people's attitude) towards Yukinori really irks me.
I feel so bad for Yukinori. Kou is so harsh on him. Since when do you measure hardships of a person by how smooth their hands are? He rebukes Yukinori for not understanding their work, calls him selfish, self-righteous and insensitive, but that's so hypocritical of him. He assumes that he (and the people in close relation to him) are the only ones who have difficulties to face... I don't know, his handsome face just can't make up for his attitude. I get that he was being defensive given his past, but would it really hurt him to act civil?
Tbh, all of them have such unrealistic expectations from Yukinori... why though? Is it really necessary for him to be good at everything just because he's the president's son? Is he not human? Are the workers the only ones who feel exhausted?
They treat him like such a doormat, even his own father! If he was so adamant about his son taking over the business, why did he send him to Tokyo in the first place?
I really liked this manga, and I really enjoyed the art, but now that I think about it... I don't know. Currently re-reading the 2nd volume again so I hope the characters get better...
I love this manga, I really do. It's innocent and cute yet gives you a bittersweet taste of how relationships can be at times.
But, and that's a big but, I don't really get the point of the sequel...when they just had to regress on the relationship. The prequel showed that they kissed (multiple times at that) and their relationship showed some development, but it all went back in this volume? Was their kiss even real? Was it just a dream or something? Reading this volume, it just seems like nothing happened between them...
Also, love me a supportive girl, but that is definitely not what Chiba is. I just knew when I saw her in the first volume that there would definitely be drama with her, and lo and behold, here it is.
She has an inkling as to what both of them feel towards each other, but she still pushes Endou towards her friend in the first volume, picks on him from time to time, confesses to Tsuda (apparently bcoz she wants them to move forward...yeah right), continues to pick on Endou when she gets rejected (of course she can't pick on Tsuda bcoz he can stand his own, but Endou is a lot more submissive in that aspect). And even IF she was supportive, who does she think she is? Let them do what they want, why was is she butting in?
Some people commented that this was all in good humor but I really can't bring myself to believe that. Chiba comes across (at least to me) as one of those cliche girls who cry 'why can't it be me' to the guy who rejected them.
There is a lot of back and forth, and I was quite confused about the timeline of this (since their relationship went back a few *huge* steps), but I still want to see them get together in the end!
I wish this gets translated bcoz I really don't want to be hating/disliking any character, and I definitely want to know how their relationship progresses!
I really hope there's a story for their friends too!
