Some people are saying Ella was suffering from untreated postpartum depression but I think she suffers from low self-esteem. She wanted Kafir more than she wanted anything else because he saw her and loved her. She marked her kids' birth as the end of their "intense" love. But in truth, it was just she wasn't able to accept reality. After the HEA, life responsibilities are still there: children, and ruling a kingdom. But she didn't seem to take any interest in being the Queen, i.e., the responsibilities that came with it. Kafir appears to have some intense dark circles from overwork and she is just running around demanding his attention and ignoring her kids.
Post-partum is a deep depression with feelings of anhedonia. Ella doesn't seem to be depressed or lack enjoyment in things. She just has an intense fixation on Kafir and what he represents. A fairytale king who would love her and cherish her; she never thought about what Kafir needed. Rosalie catches on to this and that's why she doesn't want to help the Heroine. Ella isn't a person who can heal Kafir so she's no longer the FL.

This is good. I was getting bored of the story halfway through until the FL started theorizing that the world was not how it seemed at all. Adel poor baby was being used the entire time. And it's so amazing to see how it's slowly being unraveled as well as how heartbreaking because Adel really had no one to trust but his father. Love this so far

I want the dramatic prince to look for her and then learn that she has completely moved on from him. I want him to regret ever believing Misano and not trying to figure out the truth.
I want him to suffer for his mistake cause what he did was just wrong. Who flirts with someone else while engaged and supposedly in love? Who blames someone they "love" without any evidence? And publicly humiliates and banishes them? With NO EVIDENCE?!
She blames herself for letting go of his hand but he let go first. No way to redeem him or the brother. She will 100% be happier without them in her life. Shize for the win!!
I was unwilling to read it because of all the hype but it was so heartfelt and has such well-developed characters. It was very realistic in that this war would take many of them, sacrifices were made to give the future generations a chance in a safe and peaceful world. It was great to see that there wasn't just one OP character and that it was pure teamwork that helped them defeat Muzan. And I loved the importance of family in all this. So many instances of familial love. It was precious !
