I’ve been thinking for a while now that Luisa is suspicious. She def loves Mercedes and is the only person that could make a fake tresalma spell. Additionally, she gives off obsessed stalker vibes. Could be wrong but 90% sure im right.

Prior to reading many novels and manhua, I really liked this manhua. But now I find it a bit lacking in character development as well as I question some choices the author made.

1. Why did ML have to get a substitute and actually have already slept with the substitute prior to MC transmigrating? It made his 10 year crush and devotion seem insincere. Especially because it was only 3 months after MC died. Additionally, Huo Yi was so rude to OG Jia Mu. I understand it’s a transactional relationship but he was so disrespectful. He’s the type to be a monster to others and nice only to the person he likes which is so weird to me. I don’t mean he had to fall in love with OG Jia Mu but he could have treated him like a human being. At the beginning, when ML still doesn’t know MC transmigrated he slaps MC and later throws several wine bottles at MC which could have cause serious damage if MC hadn’t dodged. That’s insane and it can only be assumed he treated OG Jia Mu like a rag doll he could just abuse. I also didn’t like their age difference and power dynamic at the start. It’s all types of no. And let’s imagine MC didn’t transmigrate as Jia Mu, how awkward and insincere would ML appear then? In truth, this plot device wasn’t necessary and ML could have just mourned like a normal person for the 3 months.

2. It was a bit icky how no one questioned how OG Jia Mu just disappeared? Or cared till the photos of his abuser were posted online. Everyone was so happy Yuan Mu was alive that no one bothered to wonder if OG Jia Mu would come back or showed concern for him. Particularly, ML who actually met the real one and knew his circumstances. Maybe the novel addressed this better but it was a bit lacking here. I did forget some of the plot and stopped at 114 today so it might have been discussed more than I thought but I read it 2x before and am pretty sure it was pretty little.

Anyways, it’s a pretty typical story and not too bad for a light read

Not perfect but also not as bad as some people make it out to be. Artist are people with extreme emotions and so are their muses. So it seems overly dramatic at times because typically artist feel emotions at a pretty intense level and for most ppl that’s a lot.

Also, Michiru does have character development because he choses MC on his own and wanted to experience love for himself. He also ruined the tattoo because he no longer wanted to be sensei’s art. His new tattoo is a collab with MC bc his self inflicted scars are the base (the roots and stems of the flowers) for the whole tattoo. MC even says this and Michiru also helps MC get recognition for his work and pushes him to NY even if that meant he would be alone. Those are all choices he made on his own.

Additionally, he’s encouraged by MC to attend Uni and MC teaches him English. It’s odd to say he has no development when he clearly started to think as an individual and got a BF all on his own with like zero life skills.

Before MC he legit did and acted in the way sensei told him to. He was an add on to sensei’s art, a breathing statue that has 1 request in his entire time with sensei, to get MC’s painting from years before.

Anyway, happy he has a chance to get educated and build a career for himself. Maybe as a model or something.

Nagisa wanted to have sex with Kaito as punishment is probs bc he felt like he tried to take Minato from Kaito by confessing first. He saw himself as a thief that needed punishment bc in his mind Kaito is so amazing that Minato will definitely fall in love with him. So, he wanted to sleep with Kaito as a substitute for Minato or as loveless/painful sex bc unconsciously he has always loved Kaito and wanted to sleep with him. So, by having sex with Kaito who doesn’t love him and would only be doing it out of revenge, he will hurt himself deeply since he’s in love with Kaito. He also did feel like Minato dying was his fault due to Kaito’s words so that was another reason he felt he owed Kaito.

And I think him sleeping with random men was also self punishment. For him it meant he would never sleep with the one he loves since he felt he didn’t deserve happiness. Although this was all unconscious thoughts and actions since he wasn’t aware he love Kaito and wanted to be Minato who he saw as equally as great at Kaito. Minato was his god, the perfect version of himself he wished he could be who would match well with Kaito.

It started off so well but then it was like the author didn’t know what they wanted to do and kept changing their mind.

At first, FL transmigrated as Charlize but she isn’t Charlize. She was actually a kidnapped child forced to be an assassin but died because she was betrayed by the one person that didn’t force her to kill. Which was odd how she didn’t want to kill people but did so without care a few times in the story (or maybe she severely injured them but it’s never well explained so idk).

We have so many moments where she says she is not the OG Charlize but then it’s hinted she is and her identity is never really brought up as an issue. And apparently, the book memories were incorrect so OG Charlize wasn’t unhinged to begin with. And also she was reincarnated many times? ??

And ML had past life memories but never showed any hints of that and in fact acted confused about knowing her well or loving her so idk how that came out of nowhere. And how is he also the dragon ??? I’m so lost honestly.

It’s cute and I’ll keep reading but it’s clownery at this point lol

I’m glad he is gaining his senses and emotions back. This manga hurt my soul and I can’t forget it due to how painfully realistic Kei’s abuse was. I’m glad he is on the track to healing.

Wow, is this good. If you are reading this, read this manga because it’s very well done and hilarious

I angry read this bc the uke was so homophobic at first (but also read as angry bc seme had one night stands) and the seme essentially used the uke’s parents’ well being to coerce him into having sex.

I didn’t think they would be able to redeem themselves and would just get together like usual side stepping all issues but I’m glad about the sister and friends’ around them who set them on the right path.

Uke learned his thoughts were close minded and didn’t take into consideration those with diff sexual orientations and the seme verbalized how we mistreated uke and also told uke to not just brush off what he did to him. The extras really made up for the main story. It showed that they got together and kept growing in their relationship instead of magically forgetting how both were messed up to each other. It also shows they weren’t monsters who had no consideration. They were just hurt and confused ppl that could become better with time and experience
