I wanted to know more about the first story. It had a good premise -- a seemingly naive man with a dark secret and a stoic man who didn't care about anyone before. But, alas, it wasn't really that much in-depth. While I don't dislike the side plot (or is another story) with the brother; I think it could have just been a 1-2 chapters and we could have focused more on the first story. All in all, it's kind of lacking in development.

This would have been easily a very generic story with a lot of sex and a really boring villain but the one factor that held this together is Soohwa. He's mature, smart and reasonable. Thus, despite the predictable plot -- the journey is still enjoyable. I read the entire available chapters with a freaking smile on my face.

For all the things MC has experienced in the past -- she remains a naive girl to the point that it has become unpleasant to read. For god sake, learn how to stand up for yourself, you sad depressing pest. How about reading from other going back in time series like Doctor Elise for good measure.

Yeah. It might not be the best childhood but in this life she is learning to have friends, knowing that her father and a lot of people always got her back and experiencing and learning things that she actually love. She is not even putting that much effort to avoid the prince because she knows that the Jieun girl would appear in her world, fall in love with the prince, take the empress title from her and Aristia would have the life she wants. Free from the prince and becoming her life goal, a knight.

Lezhin comics are always lacking in terms of ending. For all the drama and thrill they built... it's like they just say fuck it let's end this and move on. I love the story, I really do -- but to say that the ending was unfulfilling is an understatement.

That's probably because of lehzin itself. Authors are usually given "slots" for certain amount of chapters every week, and for how long, depend on how well the series are doing. The terms are usually strict (i remember there was a protest from authors about this) and there are certain limitations for authors regarding their stories. For example, manhwa dark heaven faced a lot of pressure from lehzin and readers. On top of that, it wasn't that popular with GP so the authors had to change the ending and cut the story short. There are other examples on this, but i didn't remember which manhwas.

It started great but the ending was kinda meh. For all the drama built up the climax was not really worthwhile, in my opinion. More importantly, the side plots are almost unnecessary. Just as stated by a literature that I once read -- if side plots do not help in progressing the main story, then they shouldn't be there at all. Nevertheless, good story with good drama but just not as exciting as one would think. Personally, I'm a bit bitter because I expected a lot lot more.
Great great story, but that ending was really sudden. It somewhat felt unaccomplished.
