Thanks for letting me know. I was almost hesitant to continue reading this. I just don't like plot lines that force sequences to make villains or anti-heroes suddenly likable without it being feel deserved, organic, or reasonable.
I like that MC isn't too enthusiastic or underwhelming with regards to her motivations and actions. Despite the generic plot, I like that her character feels organic, making the story feel substantial.

Yah, but everything before this point felt more like dark comedy rather than what we just saw. So it still felt unexpected.
