Tbh I want this to be a bittersweet ending such as that they don’t end up together forever, but they were able to clear up all misunderstandings in a heartfelt way and Hae-il and officially dies without regrets.

omg i have a similar idea too except i kinda wish after Hae-il (officially) dies, he's somehow given the another chance to live but this time he no longer have any memories of Pado (and so does Pado). It's like they never even met. So in the last scene we get to see they bumped into each other as their first meeting
they both finally got their fair start *wink wink*
Considering this author's previous work: Tale of the Yellow Dragon, they might choose an opening ending. The MC's allowed to live but they both lose memories abt each others.

Exactly! Sure, the brothers were in pain and mistreated her due to that, but even so, that isn't acceptable. Unlike the ML (older brother), Johan looks up to her and actually takes care and is nice to MC (his sister too). In my opinion, Johan should be ML because it doesn't make a least bit of sense why Eugene is the ML.
