I do agree there should be more exposure to bisexuality but like it can't be helped if you like just ONE person from a gender you weren't originally attracted to. It would depend on your version of what bisexuality is, whether its a general attraction to both genders or a person can have a main interest in one gender and is attracted only to one specific person in the other. Sometimes it too vague to simply label as bisexuality or any sexuality really. So though labels can help people identify and understand themselves better, I think its better just to identify the characters in these situations without them. (Only unless its obvious they are full bi lol)

This has nothing to fucking do with the fact that this manga is Japanese. You think gay people suddenly feel bi if they like someone of the opposite gender? Acting like you can determine what other people are, aren't you just being selfish. It's up to the individual, not your perception of who they are.
