To echo the comment below THIS IS A TRAGEDY MANGA you aren't ment to root for anyone, this is a train wreck that you slowly watch unravel If people don't die then their life will be destroyed leading to complete madness ending in Kanae's death.
There will be NO hapiness or change of heart. If you want to read a better written story go check out 91 days, Oyasumi Punpun or Houseki no Kuni (or hell "The song of Achille" if actual literature doesn't scare you) and for the love of god stop whining !!
