I like the dynamics of the second couple a lot. Joonghwan is so strong. He chased after Shiwon for years, like a faithful dog, but now he is finally standing his ground and won't take Shiwon's crap anymore.
Shiwon on the other hand is a load of crap, always doing whatever he wants and not dealing with the consequences but maybe the recent events are the wake up call he needed and he is going to realize that just because he is beautiful his shittytude won't be always tolerated.
I don't know how the author is going to redeem his character, seeing how his list of bad actions includes rape, but I'm all in for a story about forgiveness or at least I hope this is about forgiveness and not one of those stories where love conquers all and rape ends up being overlooked. The fact that after being raped Joonghwan didn't succumb to Shiwon's pheromones but calmly explained how despicable his action had been gives me hope.
