thsi webtoon is one of the very few that is clever in sequencing plots. cause why i thought s going to end after yvonnes wedding and maybe it gets to 100 chapters with few short stories or flashback but they spin it one more time and it flows well!
some isekai webtoon really be dragging it out with faux conflicts and new character intro willy nilly in the nick of time and they were all desperate and overstaying their welcome. but this one ties things nicely and nothing or no one comes out of the blue. her isekai marker being vague and literally not defined whether it is true she regressed or its just a long dream and being reused for the next story is clever!
also all the mothers dying in labor being a pattern plot point in the background but then gradually becoming a major turning point is nice to read. this is a well composed story

I feel like in a lot of manhwas with souls/soul beads, it's all more connected to their soul rather than their body so i feel like that's why it makes it less violating? I understand where you're coming from, but i guess some ppl just viewed it more as a vessel whereas their more personal part of themselves is their soul bead.

well yeah this webtoon is doing a lame job at panning out the characters in relation to trafficking/slavery. and yes head of govt and/or state are literally elected officials (except for monarchies but they still eat ur taxes anyway) so of course impunity lies with them even if there are restrictions or regulations in place something horrible happens in their administration they would have criminal impunity to a degree should it actually comes to court IRL. and a lot of korean webtoons use this prompt for an arc willy nilly bc other webtoons are using them, theyre often ill thought out. im not saying korean ppl doesnt have problems, we knew how they dealt w colonialism but overall i find they have a very 'uwu' views of social justice and it renders their use of trafficking and slavery as plot tool to be rather shallow and only for shock value and never exactly about the trafficking/slavery itself, more about the romance interaction that unfolds from those lollll its so common. and i know that these are trivial and not exactly important in actual life but so what? i was ranting lmao cant a girl rant
I think part of the issue is that Koreans have a HUGE human trafficking issue, so that is why it is so prevalent in manhwa
