her works are intense and touches so many delicate subject (menstruation, chauvinism, feudalism, paedophilia) yet the work is so nonchalant and was packaged so neatly it doesnt feel heavy at all! you can feel frusrtrated at the misogyny, but she delivers it very comically that you ends up catching the issue, but also not disturbed by it. i think shes a very elaborate and crafty story teller!!! thank you for your work translators! i know this manga is from 1997 but im so happy its here nevertheless!
they were sweet and they made sense in the first 5 chapters but ever since then the vibe of the dynamic turned downhill for me?? firstly, tiara i understand how bad of insecurity and self consciousness you can develop while being in a relationship, but feeling like youre being chased or suffocated by thoughts all the time should never be the way??? when one has this personal issue that might obstruct the relationship, they have to settle that themselves before they can proceed to try to have a healthy relationship. tiara seemed mature and assertive in the earlier chapters too so the relstionship now feels entirely different.

The fairy king - so like another woman I forgot I think she was the sea queen or smthing but Ye she liked him and was jealous how the king took a liking to fl so she basically sided with the other princess the one liked by sea and tried to hook her with the prince while she tried to get the king (︶︿︶)＝凸
sure shes a klutz tripping that many times but otherwise she has a very solid personality. shes proud, but also shameless, shes sarcastic and snappy as hell, but also efficient in socialising (avoiding ties with nobilities, practicing common ettiquette when knowing captain and crown princes titles), mischievous but also a bit reckless. her character is very amusing and real! balanced.
this webtoon, from the characterizing, the color palette, the wordings by the translators, and the art style give off old school josei manga. reminds me a bit to TONO sensei's 1997 work, karubania monogatari. bittersweet, aloof, mature, but also whimsical.
mixed feelings about this. the suspense of this manga really had me on edge even though we all know who it was all along. the melodrama of this manga well how do i say it im broken hearted. im a girl whos been questioning my sexuality for a good portion of my life. i understand jihyeon. denial brings a lot of pain and sometimes, repressed memories comes flooding in without mercy and at those moments, you are not you, or maybe thats who youve always been. eventhough the story kinda got dragged to stack up this many chapters, i think its a really good read

id like to revise my redactional statement. regardless of the quite possible loveline with eugene which i found highly disturbing this webtoon is actually a heartwarming read. so im pushing past chapter 22 where i last read it and i hope either she find a new love interest or her chemistry with johan is a little tuned in bc itd be a loss to drop this:( tbh i dont feel any chemistry between her and johan even though hes very sweet and hari seems fond of him. but ive got from the start that romance is not this webtoons strong suit, bc i guess it chose to focus on family
