One of the best shoujo-esque mangas I've ever read. The portrayal of a master-servant relationship was well captured, and it's an interesting change from others. Love love love the struggles of each of the protagonists, the fierce gentleness of the emperor, and the quiet but strong support of the boy. <3

About the beating, I think halfway through their fight, Kyu Bin started beating him up onesidely because then Seungtaek would get in trouble as the class pres.
Not excusing that, but this has seriously roused my interest because I'm excited for everyone's stories.
