I’m probably a minority in this ^^; but I would enjoy this story more if it was about something else then the tension around sex. Like, that’s it. That’s all it’s about. The esper doesn’t want the sex, but he needs the sex, so then he wants the sex, and the guide thirsts for the sex, but he can’t take the sex so the esper throws himself at the sex, but the guide can’t do the sex though he wants the sex because then he’ll lose the guy, so he has to wait until he gets an okay for the sex so that they get to have the sex… It’s all a little dull

I don't think that was the case. Idk when he was broken up with, before or after the manifestation. But DoYoon prob broke up after the manifestation since he had been mate bonded so now he's tied to some unknown omega. That could be reason. I'm sure he still prefers betas.
