wanted to ask if anyone knows why xiao wu betrayed them? good until the end I think that the author actually likes fu shen Xiang. he didn't get a happy life with he yan but he got everything else. most of everything her to give birth to his child, she did. He didn't want to live without her so he killed himself. She begs him to kill her but doesn’t let her cuz death is a mercy sometimes, he’s the last person to deserve it. don't judge people for feeling bad for him cuz it’s human to feel bad even if they deserve it. can't understand people who hopes/impies that she secretly loved him or his love was pure. I see people saying his child will suffer, I don't believe that. She never blamed the young even if they hurt her. hate the "if you don't like it,why read it?” liked it right up until the end, unfortunately not a good enough person to feel bad seeing him suffer. I can read about red flags when the story is purposefully unrealistic, author and readers is on the same page "this would never be ok irl" l don’t only read romance but it should be realistic to the end. it would ve made more sense if she did abortion considering she wanted him to suffer. just my personal take, no one has to agree.
