tbh i think the older brother had a misunderstanding. maybe airi DID like the ML in the past but i think she really loves the older brother right now. maybe the older brother found out who she likes before and thought she likes the younger brother and he ruined it for them, so he decided he wanna make Airi happy when all he's doing right now is complicate things.
