Everything is not fine. I'm heart broken because the mc realizes he is not special to the dragon. I guess, one of the few factors that makes us human apart from the tiny lifespan is the fact that we form 'feelings' towards specific people. As the mc sacrifices himself to save his people, he also developes a soft corner for the dragon. With no one else to spend his immortality with, I think the mc had been thinking about his days with the dragon. But then to realize that his thoughts, and expectations would be swiftly put down(as the mc sees the dragon express a very rare moment of sweet memory hidden for a lady) is nonetheless Cruel. In that scene, the mc realizes the most human existence that he will miss is the lack of loved ones to care for. It's a very lonely feeling. Hence, it makes me unable to think of a possible 'romance' brewing between the mc and dragon. I'm probably speaking more tragedy than it actually is, but some happy endings probably have the saddest stories before their end.
Ahem. Guys, I was thinking. Number 15 is a nice pair for Louis.
