I hate when people excuse child pornography and rape in manga because people say oh its just fictional its fine But fiction does affect life tho??? Like remember when Jaws came out and people started hunting sharks like crazy because they thought they were dangerous even though that movie was all fictional? People saying that its ok cause its just fiction haven't really thought about the implications of it. Its ok to write about things like incest, rape, abusive relationships, ect, but when an author or creator frames these things in a good or positive light, it normalizes it even if its fiction or not. People often forget how big of a role media play......   5 reply
