The FL seems stupid(? Although she has her moments and the premise seemed interesting, it's falling under its own weight. The FL decided on divorce without preparing for it. Literally no preparations for living outside the marriage in a different universe. I though she gave the husband the month so she could prepare, instead she just lazes around in bed. THAT'S ALL SHE DOES. That and constantly wonders why the husband that begged for a month to make her change her mind is making an effort to.... You guessed it. Change her freaking mind. It's boggling that she still wonders why he makes an effort. Her reason for divorce is mainly that she would be killed if he commits treason, so she's not interested in fostering a relationship with him. So giving him a month when she's not planning on doing anything to prepare for her life after divorce and doesn't want to change her mind on the divorce seems idiotic? A waste of time? From what I understood, the main issue in the marriage was him ignoring his wife. It's explained from his pov that he does so to protect himself (and her somehow?). When he sees this is not working BECAUSE SHE COMMUNICATES he changes. And she wonders why. It's as if communicating expectations to your willing partner makes them care for them and try to achieve them. Wild idea I know. She should try to explore that
