Good thing Itsuki wasn't chosen as the successor because he was dense as hell. Still, after the grandfather learnt the truth, he should have sent him to hell. TBH I didn't like the brother at all. He was always "poor Akira, so selfless" while he took advantage of that trait. He acted concerned and used that concern to make Akira act the way he thought he should act (give up the shop, give up Motoya) but never really cared what Akira actually wanted. For example, the whole Enrico Romario thing. He knew that Akira would always put him first, nevertheless he asked him to stay for dinner with Romario because otherwise he wouldn't be able to get such a connection. He didn't care if Akira had other plans.

The only thing I'm miffed about what is happening right now is that no-one is going off on the emperor. Like, Adelaide just stood there and took it instead of telling him that he refused her first for a mistress, then tried to forced her and when she didn't comply he resorted into trying to break her spirit telling her to just look pretty. Sure, she may have failed ONE of her duties as empress but he failed all his duties as husband and emperor.

I really love seeing characters be their own downfall while making a move thinking it will earn them everything. Like you really need to be THAT stupid. And it's not like it's OOC for him. Because he really can't see another POV than his own. He can't fathom that Adelaide doesn't want the tower's power and that it will benefit him. He IS that narrow.

I liked it but the uke is a bit of an idiot. He has to be spelled out that blood relatives aren't influenced by his powers. Something one would think is quite obvious. And then, when he gets kidnapped, he suddenly forgets that he can command people at will. He could have just told everyone to let him go and they would have complied.

The only interesting character is left on the side and paired up with a psycho who shows no remorse for doing exactly what he hates his family. It makes absolutely no sense at all and I really wanted the omega to put the alpha in his place and then move on to a better partner. Or at least for the alpha to do some growing up before having the omega accept him just like that.
In the end is my fault, I guess, for having faith in an omegaverse story
