I read previos chapters and I still can't make sense of Arabella's dead. It served absolutely no purpose plot-wise. She was set to soon go away. It added nothing to Ariadne's fight. It did serve a bit for Alphonso development but it could have been done literally any other way, it was even bound to happen naturally with the way things were with the idiot princess. I hate it when they present "strong female lead" while clinging to tropes like killing a female character to further a male character development.
