Obsessive guys turn me off so bad. But surprisingly the author managed to make me intrigued of the main couple in this story. FL is ,by no means, a strong FL in terms of strength and power. However, her awareness of the things around her astound me. Finally there're no more dumb-headed dense FL who don't see how twisted an obsessive and posessive guy is. Because if the reason he started to like you because you're "InTeREstinG", then the moment that you're not interesting is the moment he will cast you away lmao.
Also i love how they delve deeper into the dating game isekai trope. Most used it as plot device just as a foothold to enter the isekai genre. This one tho? Legit really explore the consequences and realities of this genre.
I had loved fantasy genre for so long and it's hard to find a really fantasy one. I've found so many that uses a fantasy genre but still uses modern logic or use the fantasy as a decoration (trying to make it quirky or something).
All in all, can't wait to see more!
I think this obsessive guy is so much better because he doesn't ignore her because of his obsession or get weirdly close/manipulative. He surprisingly respects her boundaries and opinions, actively communicates with her, and explains himself. it's so much better than "I love you, you're mine so I'm going to control you and everything about you sneakily while showing you only my sparkly side, here have all these things you didn't ask for or want regardless of if you feel burdened <3<3<3"

My heart literally breaks when i saw his smile. Like that's a genuine smile if i ever see one. I adore the artist to be able to convey his complex yet simple feelings towards Rosen just by a single panel. He's happy that she won't be tied down anymore. He's happy that she's finally free. Nothing else matters as long as she's released from the burden of the world. That's a true love if i ever see one. Most romance portray possessive and obsessive love as this sort of a highest form of love. But i beg to differ, THIS is what i nominate.
To be honest, from the start of the story until now, the plot could be seen as a quite simple one. It's literally about a woman escaped from a ship set sailed to an island. But still, the way the author explored all of the intricacies of life in this seemingly small plot is just so amazing. Other stories may have explored love through multiple settings and plots but this author's portrayal of love will never be outdone.
Ugh this is truly a very fitting ending for both of them.i truly enjoy this read. Can't wait until someday somehow i forgot about this and will relive this extraordinary read again

For an old series, this one had a potential in its time. I felt like the main focus on this story was Loki and Nakaba even though it was portrayed as this classic cringy shoujo romance story (which is quite a refreshing read honestly). Also, even when i had known that there will be twists in the end, i was still shocked lmao.
Yes the ending is a bit rushed and i do felt like the author wanted to just end it quick but it did feel like the ending was planned as the author said. From the beginning of the story, other aspects of the story was also rushed including the romance between Caesar and Nakaba, except for the story plots between Loki and Nakaba.
Casting the weird incest elements aside, honestly Loki and Nakaba is really something, like i'm not saying it in the way i see them in a romantic way like Nakaba and Caesar, but like they have an inseparable bond. They have this kind of bond that transcends beyond physical form of love, they truly care for each other....
Overall, is this like some kind of a innovative one-of-a-kind manga? No. Honestly i wouldn't really recommend this one either. I don't have any gained new insights from this. The author handled every kind of conflicts kind of lightly. But would i want more stories like this? Absolutely yes. As i said, this is like a decade ago. Time's changing and we've seen how progressive stories have become. However, some of the ones i've read nowadays felt more brain dead than this. So i would really appreciate if future mangakas could take the good sides of this manga and implement it into their stories.
Ugh Platinum's so self centered. He clearly doesn't know who pink diamond is and only like the ideas of her. For example, if there's any incongruity like how obsidian could cook while his image of her was that she couldn't cook, he panicked and i know he def lost his feelings a bit there. What if obsidian is truly pink diamond? People can change, cooking is something you can learn in due time...things like romance novels too, you can grow to like different kinds of book in your life....
There's still pretty much unknown about Alex, so he's okayyy for now.

I do feel regret but also grateful that he's not going to be involved in between Obsidian, Platinum, and Alex. He's pretty much a safe green flag guy so i like him best out of three. But yeah, since i don't really have a positive view of the "love triangle", i'm glad he stayed out of the mess

Obisidan is......well.....As people had said, the premise is full of plot holes so i don't even want to point them out one by one because it's endless. She is just...lacking character development rn...Like i would rather go through the most painful awkward phase of her adjusting to her new role and slowly transitions into becoming a more confident person. Like yeah sometimes she can act well, sometimes she....yeahhhh....
