I've never related more to a character than Penelope
She's so level headed
"Fuck this I'm not a heroine of a fantasy world, I'm scared, my plans failed, that monster inhabiting Yvonne is gonna kill me, I'm dipping"
Same Penelope, same
In the end I just want her to be happy though
If this means going back to her world and leaving everyone behind (even Calisto), then so be it

Honestly tho I feel like her reactions are the most real a mc has ever been like she’s been through so much what else’s is she suppose to do at this point I mean I read this story just for her I want to see are girl happy or at lest at peace I mean honestly I would even take her death if it meant she could be at peace

This dude genuinely doesn't know how to human
His only red flag is that he may want to eat the teacher in a not sexy way
And I think the kid may be sick and the dad is freaking out that the people may think he's turning?
Idk, this feels like the author is messing with us a lot
Like hinting that things are more sinister than they really are?
I guess I'm too optimistic ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
I don't care what anyone says
Penelope herself (or better saying, the girl in her body) is aware that apologies don't change anything now
But you see how she smiled?
That means she appreciates Reynold's intentions, she knows he really means it
Is he late? Yeah
But that doesn't mean it's useless to apologize
It's easy to fall into that "everyone is trash, they all deserve to suffer" mentality
When that kind of plot becomes boring and very one dimensional
Penelope deserves an apology from Reynold, just like she should get one from her dad, older brother and even Calisto (dude threatened her life too many times before becoming interested in her)
Thankfully she's still extremely mature and while not forgiving him, she's choosing to not part ways bitterly
Yes he's been an extremely shitty brother
Now he's gonna try to do better (which I don't trust 100%)
So I'm just gonna be happy for Penelope that now she's got one more person in her corner
She deserver happiness and closure
Well, the story actually agrees with you.
The father, Reynold and Callisto are the only ones who have a good relationship with her by the end, because they take steps to make amends and take accountability.
(Well, Winter too... In a way at least... But that's heavy spoilers.)
