Overall the story has been pretty good though

It's very tricky when a story attempts to approach something's as complex as colonization and war in depth
Let's be honest we began reading this bc we liked the sister's dynamics and how FL was a badass and smart
I wanted a chill story, about some goddamn needed sorority and sisterhood, maybe a good ML and moments of badassery
I think the author underestimated how much more aware people are nowadays about history and politics in general

Bad translation with an already shaky plot is the one guaranteed way to make people stop reading

This is really a feels good type of story
Interesting characters, almost no angst and a steady underlying romance
And the men are so fine
I literally have a crush on most of them
Even that one soldier who lost his hand (we don't even know his name lol)
