I think it's bc it's not an instant "I hate you now and I'll say the most horrible things to you bc I'm clearly being manipulated"
It's a much more subdued, slowly taking over people's minds, sometimes they seem ok, sometimes they seem off
I didn't realize it's much more disturbing when you can see there's clearly a regular person under the mental control

I would've preferred if he guessed she foresaw her own death and kept pressing her until she snapped and told him. It would make more sense that way. Especially, sine we know she is not in a good headspace rn.

I love that he looks like a stereotypical defenseless crybaby who's usually saved by the ml, he actually has a brain and has the backbone to use it properly

This was a nice hurt/comfort story (emphasis on hurt, bc there was a whole lot more of it than comfort lol)
I just love how this went from a full on life threatening crisis, to Lyrica catching bugs in the forest like any other kid
