Ikr. Like- I've given up Reading chinese CEO, rich people comics since it mostly has the same plot, vibes like the others.

But still. We have to respect what the author makes. They're still good tho and has different Art styles and characters.. But as it keeps going. It does gets really kinda boring sometimes.. And you can almost guest what's going to happen next..

correction: that man really is anastasius. unless you've read the novel, you won't be able to differentiate the manhwa from it.

in the manhwa, anastasius is conscious in his body while aeternitas is simply at the back of his head, manipulating him. that's why we notice him somewhat being concerned with jeanette and getting pissed when jeanette talks about claude being her dad. because his soul remains in the body. like what father wouldn't get angry about their daughter not knowing who their real father is? but in the novel, it was all aeternitas's doing; anastasius was dead and had nothing to do with it. aeternitas is actually insecure af since lucas called him weak years before. he adores lucas as a magician, so in order to "redeem" himself, he possesses anastasius/reborn into his body or something (in the garden during that flashback) and causes trouble for claude and athy just to get lucas's attention.

and yes, in the novel, aeternitas (in anastasius's body) poses as lucas (the magic tower's magician) in order to cast a spell on claude so he forgets athy. in claude's dreams, he loves his daughter but when he wakes up he doesn't know who she is so he gets frustrated and exiles athy.
