So because of all the comments about the drama and the seme not being very nice to the uke I actually read the novel yesterday like a mad man lol
I must say personally I was pleasantly surprised.
A bit of spoiler ahead but it’s mostly just my 2 cents:
I was worried the seme was just gonna be a big homophobic jackass and alllooking at the comment but tbh it wasn’t like that at all. They both honestly were in the wrong and made big mistakes and hurt each other’s and I found them both quite realistic in their cowardly ways. Like, I hated sometimes how they acted but at the same I still understood why they acted like that, and honestly couldn’t be (or stay mad) too long at either of them. Seme-kun had all the rights to react the way he did after the reveal and honestly that was the most realistic reactions I’ve ever seen, and uke-kun had all the rights to getting tired of seme-kun’s shit in vol 2 and yell at him (but at the same time I still understood seme-kun confusion lol)
Anyway I’m looking forward to the manga uwu

Oh yeah that scene was terrible and painful to read. I understand the half assed apology since he apparently didn’t remember so he probably didn’t feel concerned by it, like it happened to someone else HOWEVER I wish the uke would have made him pay for it more (even tho he was the one starting it and honestly that also was a terrible and toxic thing to do, what happened after he had all the right to take the seme accountable for and I wish the author would have showed the seme a bit more resentful/feeling awful about it. They both move on from that too fast)

I feel really bad for the uke especially when you know the consequences it can have for young people in Japan the moment they appear in ONE porn movie (it’s actually something more frequent that you would think and has terrible consequences professionally later on)
Really hope he will learn what an asshole move the seme did at the start and that this bastard will suffer appropriately ‘cause he has a lot to be forgiven for

I think some people tend to forget that Tia is pushing Cedric away not just to respect « some kind of past plot » but most of all because she has a deep-rooted hatred for herself. She’s a woman who lived a past life destroying others’s life so she could survive. Because it was the only way she knew how to. She’s deeply marked by that and the scars it left in her will probably never go away. She’s also an abused child.
She doesn’t love herself nor feel deserving of love. She feels like Cedric would be unhappy with her and feel a HUGE amount of guilt towards him, more than any normal person could comprehend.
Like.. cut her a bit of slack. She’s really trying her best even if in the wrong way sometimes. Her issues are way more complicated than « but if you’re in love you should be happy together! »
On an other note, last chapter was savage af.
Who else think the king actually hurt his own son so he could blame the other kingdom for kidnapping?
ohhh i didn't think about it but that would be a good scheme
I thought of the same thing! poor Adrian :((
