tbh when reading this it was a constant wavering between my fascination for the beautiful art, the amazingly disturbing characters and plot full of uniqueness and a big need to vomit.

woh I can't fucking believe some people. Yeah Hyesung is selfish and acting like a child most of the time, yeah money is important for him and since he got "lucky" he does his best to live a confortable life. Now can you really fucking blame him for that because I'm pretty sure (almost)everyone on this website is sometime selfish and want to live confortable in luxury.
And for those who say Hyesung should take responsibility because he choose to keep the baby I think they tend to forget than 1) At first Hyesung wanted to abort 2) choose to keep the baby for DOJIN's sake because HE said he would care for the baby and Hyesung would have nothing to do (so of course Dojin did everything until now. I mean, dude. That was their agreement) And yes he asked money for it, which is discutable and up to debate, but it's his choice and honestly there's more than just selfishness here because personally I wouldn't keep a baby I don't want even for all the money in the world. You have to be very brave and generous to give birth to a baby you don't want and very trusting of the person you're giving your baby to (in case like that when you're keeping the baby because of someone else's wish)
Basically they had a f*cking agreement and Hyesung did his part. He has no responsibility to take and I also want to point out that it's pretty different from what his mother did because Hyesung made sure the baby will be loved and happy during his life. Of course, there's no guarantee, but he trust Dojin, can you really blame him for that? (and for his mother, honestly what she did was selfish but she's also a victim. Don't forget that.)
Dojin is a sweet man and I love that dude and he will be a wonderful father but it's his own fault for getting his hopes up and getting selfish over wanting more with Hyesung (without even having the balls to discuss it with him and tell him how he felt).

I agree with you but I don't agree with you! (⊙…⊙ ) how did it come to this? Wow, there is just too much to say and I can't find the words, so basically it all turned to feelings in my heart than words in my mind, and that is "I feel" no one shouldn't be away from their child.
I feel no one shouldn't be away from their child if they don't want to. But sometimes, both for the child's sake and the biological parent's sake, it's better to be away. Being connected by blood to someone doesn't make them your family. You need more than that. But maybe I'm able to think like that because I witnessed many abusive parents/children relationships through my mom's job and also seen many family not related by blood that were very happy together.
Yeah, that's exactly the part I agreed with you on, love is what makes people connected with each other. I am just sad that although some of these connections were made from the strat (as default or you can say blood), it's bond to be broken. And it's just so sad, cause it's a great opportunity for a lifetime and then it slips away just like that. Still, there is hope for those who wants that connection and those who deserve it.
well for some people love isn't enough too you know. Some people need to have their life in order and feel stable before feeling ready to be parents for example. If you're a mess, you might love your child and still want to stay away from them for their sake because you feel you won't be good for them (this being true or not is another debate.) There's also case of parents exploiting their child, or locking them up and slowly cutting them from the rest of the world (I've met family like that). Those abusive parents no doubt love their child, yet they're toxic for them.
Yes, i can blame him for abandoning his child... What? He chose to have it, the "contract" (not legally binding) was a cop-out for him to make money and not have to take responsibility. This isn't surrogacy, it's his baby.

so after this last update, I re read the beginning again. I must say I don't think Kurose lied. I think he genuinely loves shirotani for himself and that in the end it's the reason he wanted to cure him. I explain.
At first, when he met Shirotani, he saw that he had mysophobia, and when the opportunity was given, he was kinda weird and pushy to help shirotani cure his disease. He asked they become friends and I really think Kurosuke planned to keep it that way, just help shirotani because of what happened with Nishigaki.
BUT during that time, shirotani was just such a precious cinamonroll, kurose kun couldn't help but like him more and more every weeks. The proof ? HE ACTUALLY CUT TIES with shirotani when he try to kiss him because he feel he has messed up, EVEN TOUGH SHIROTANI ISN'T CURED AT ALL. Why's that ? Because being in love with him, he think he will mess up at some point and betray Shirotani's trust.
My point is that at that time he felt his desire to help someone like Nishigaki to lessen his guilt or whatever it is that he has, wasn't worth sacrificing the truth Shirotani had for him, because Kurose liked him but at that time they had a patient-doctor relationship.

So I feel that he didn't really lie. I think that even if at first, he wanted to help Shirotani because of what happened with Nishigaki in the past, it soon wasn't the real reason anymore and that in chapter 8 it really became the fact that he was in love with Shirotani and wanted to kiss him and such, more than anything.
Also I can understand that Kurose don't want to tell the person he loves that at first he had ulterior motives he isn't proud of u_u (be brave kurose ) Even more since it will involve betraying Shrotani's trust in Kurose and Kurose never want to betray the trust Shirotani has in him. Never. I think it's the thing he want the less in the world.
