Everyone is so angry with akira relationship with his tutor while I’m here really liking how it was portrayed actually? Minus the age gap, I actually feel like it’s a quite healthy, mature and realistic relationship between two lonely people that trust each other. They’re in a friends with benefit relationship and they honestly keep the friend part, no one is possessive of the other and they honestly just want the best for the other. To me it feels like a way deeper love and care in some way. Tho it is also very bittersweet because they only got like that because of how out of place and unloved they felt. I hope the tutor can catch a nice man for himself too, as you can only live so long without deeper attachment. Honestly this yaoi Tho at first seemed kinda classic is a breath of fresh air for some parts.
How is sex a healthy way to help loneliness? He could have used other methods, but nooo he went one to touch a minor who was confused at the time. I would have understood if they were both grown ass adults but nope.

Or both kids, if Kanda was only a couple of years older (so about 19 now I guess? instead of a grown ass working adult)

How is sex unhealthy then? People deal with loneliness the way they can, there’s no good or bad way, sex without love isn’t something bad or dirty. (And you din’t have to be an adult to do that, teenagers have sex between them as early as 12 or 13 and this here is just fact) I see both you guys that answered my comment have as only issue the age gap which I myself said was the only thing that really bothered me so really if you were going to ignore all the other valid point why bother replying :/

I was just addressing the last part of the comment I replied to! I actually agree that their relationship isn't portrayed in a way that seems toxic, if it weren't for the fact that one was a young teen (now older teen but still) and the other an adult - which we all agree about. Because as you say, teens having sex *with each other* is a reality, and sex in itself isn't unhealthy, of course, as a way to connect or to manage loneliness or purely for fun, or any number of other reasons.
Added to the fact that Kanda is an adult though, I do dislike the way he constantly pushes the responsibility for keeping their relationship going onto Akira. Put positively, it could be argued that he's making sure Akira's okay with it. But seen another way, I find it quite manipulative - "You spoil me, you know I need you so you're so kind to me... do you want to stop?" It's disingenuous to say it that way. And for god's sake he IS an adult, even if he was being crushed by unrequited love when they started, he should have grown up enough since then to know that he should end it himself.

Oh, and just wanted to add that it also really bothers me that Akira sees himself as "dirty" and "weak" because of his relationship with Kanda. To me, this indicates that he's not actually comfortable with it. Him seeing himself that way is very sad. Another reason that I feel Kanda is in the wrong over this, and there is some level of toxicity even if it's not obvious. I'd say that it may not even be intended by the mangaka, but this manga and these characters are so deep and nuanced, it may just be deliberately subtle.
Hahaha they’re all crazy alright. (Also my first thought when he said yuuta wanted a sister was like: so what, yuki is gonna have a third personality now and wear dresses?)
Huuum is the man at the end daddy sougo’s lover? (Since he mentioned knowing someone similar to Akira - aka not really beast like- and confessed marrying for interest but seemed pretty open about having a lover on the side. My gaydar is tingling)
