People who have a problem with this shouldn’t read angst. If you’re going to blindsidedly follow whoever is the mc (the FL in this case) then you obviously wouldn’t have the open mind to understand the complexity of human nature. This is a very enjoyable read that captures true “enemies to lovers” in my opinion. It’s not easy and people can’t quickly switch just like that. They have to experience real struggle in order to move on.

Goodness gracious. I love everything so far but I have to rate it 4 stars because I don’t think second prince is gonna be endgame and that breaks my heart

2 stars because this made me empathise with the FL so much I cried. If you read this while listening to Lana Del Rey it’s a whole new experience. I hate the ML from the bottom of my heart but this kind of angst is exactly what I need to get back to reading

I actually really like this. I first thought it was lacking depth in the beginning but it picked up along the way. I love the main character’s strong will that reminds us how determined she is to turn her ways from her previous life choices, and the male lead has a deep background which makes us as involved with his development as the main character is. It is an enjoyable read that brings a good mix of comedy, suspense and slow-burn romance
